Over the years, we have seen people struggling to survive after partaking in exorbitant bills shouldering usually around this festive period of X-mass forgetting that after enjoyment comes the real deal.
Most people out of peer pressure go as far as borrowing money either from the bank they operate with, the club they belong to or friends they know and when December is over and January finally arrives they begin to either struggle to survive or pay back the debt they owe.
So while you plan to celebrate big this period try to resist the influence that tends to kick you into spend unnecessarily this celebration period.
Below are tips on how you can avoid over spending this period:
1. Avoid Unnecessary Partying
One way to avoid spending recklessly is to avoid unnecessary impromptu partying with friends. This does not mean you should not go out and enjoy yourself oh! No. All I just mean is avoid any sudden partying so, if you must attend any this period it should be planed and we’ll drafted my members involved e.g town union meetings and the likes are well organized as they go as far as orgainizing free-will donations amongs its members for the main day, we encourage you not to neglect such gathering as all members are equally involved in the expenses.
2. Take Advantage Of The Season
In this season of x-mass, you all will agree with me that most vendors and establishments present amazing offers like “50 percent off prize” or “Extra-Gift” and the like to appreciate their customers for their patronage this period. We encourage our readers and friends to take advantage of this opportunity and gain or enjoy more with very little cash. But while utilizing this opportunity, be careful not to me carried away by their offer to avoid over spending.
3. Buy Simple Wears
This one is also very important please, don’t spend too much on wears as the celebration is just for but a day and everything is over. Buying expensive clothes and going broke through out the rest of the period is not wise instead get a simple decent cloth for that day and save the rest for a decent meal for rough-days-ahead. Trust me, it’s the right thing to do.
4. Celebrate With Your Family And Loved Onces
The worst thing that can happen to a person is to celebrate this festive period with people they are not familiar with as a lot of things may go wrong including their finance. But when you celebrate with with your family, they will never want to hurt you or make you spend unnecessarily and same applies to your loved one be it your spouse, boyfriend or girlfriend.
This people have been with you for sometime and thus, tends to help you grow in life.
In conclusion, I advice that in all you do, wisdom should be applied. But if you apply this above mentioned tips religiously, you will surely be financially stable and secure even after this festive period.
